Thursday November 25 2010. Twilight actors Taylor Lautner and BooBoo Stewart make there way through Los Angeles Airport after flying in from New Orleans after filming Twilight.

Pedro Rivera, a singer and father of the famous Rivera Family singers, has been selected as the grand marshal of the 60th anniversary Huntington Park Christmas Parade, to be presented by the Greater Huntington Park Area Chamber of Commerce and the city of Huntington Park at 6 p.m. Saturday.

The televised parade along Pacific Boulevard will begin at Randolph Street and travel south on Pacific to Florence Avenue and west on Florence to Rugby Avenue.

Singer Yolanda Perez, two-time winner of the Film Advisory Board’s Award of Excellence, has been selected as the queen of the Parade, said Dante D’Eramo, executive director of the chamber of commerce.

Other prominent individuals scheduled to appear include Christina as the celebrity marshal, Jose Alonso, boxing gold medalist Paul Gonzales, Humberto Luna, the Bob Baker Marionettes and Jesus Mendoza.

Also in the parade will be news reporters Rubi Campos, Yahaira Trujillo and Dulce Osuna from Channel 62, Brandon Tyler Russell, Kayley Stallings, BooBoo Stewart, Los Kitos characters and Santa Claus, D’Eramo said.

The first local Christmas Parade of the holiday season will feature 10 marching bands that to date include the Long Beach Junior Concert Band, Huntington Park High School, Banning High School, Bell High School, Santa Ana Winds, Garfield High School, Valley High School, Colegio De Bachilleres, Carson High School and the Norwalk All City Youth Band.

The parade also will feature a number of professional self-propelled floats. All the holiday floats will have live red poinsettia flowers, the official flower of Huntington Park, D’Eramo said.

The parade will also showcase equestrian units, mariachi groups, Aztec dancers, charro groups, clowns, folklorico groups and the historical Wells Fargo Stagecoach.
